Client: Connecticut Cancer Partnership
What: Elkinson + Sloves, Inc. re-branded Connecticut Cancer Partnership's communications efforts, including launching the Partnership's new newsletter and website. The new communication tools give health professionals, cancer survivors and those fighting cancer direct access to the latest in national and state resources and protocol in the shared assault against cancer. In addition, E+S supported the launch of the new Connecticut State Cancer Plan through a partnership with a Comcast PSA campaign, and outreach efforts with legislators.
Results: E+S teamed up The Partnership with legendary UConn Coach Jim Calhoun who leveraged his own personal fight with cancer. The campaign utilizes the empty seats in XL Center in Hartford, CT as a powerful metaphor illustrating the number of state residents (19,000) who were diagnosed with cancer last year.
